1. Agreement

ontiqo.com ("the site") is operated by Ontiqo Pty Ltd ("Ontiqo", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

2. What the site is for

The site describes the Ontiqo program, lets you download it once it is released, lets you buy a licence for use at work, and lets you contact us for support. It is provided for those purposes and for reading. You may link to any page of the site.

3. The program and its licence

Downloading, installing or using the Ontiqo program is governed by the End User Licence Agreement ("EULA") presented in the program, which you must accept before use. The EULA — not these terms — sets out what you may do with the program, the difference between free personal use and licensed work use, the program's privacy commitments, its warranty disclaimer and the limits of our liability for it. If anything here appears to conflict with the EULA in relation to the program, the EULA governs.

The program is provided as described on this site as accurately as we can. Speeds, durations and system requirements are honest guidance rather than guarantees; the program reports its own real progress once it is running.

Official sources only. Ontiqo is distributed solely by Ontiqo Pty Ltd, through this website and the release channels it links to. Nobody else is authorised to host, mirror, bundle, resell or otherwise distribute the program or its installer, and the EULA prohibits doing so. A copy obtained from any other source is unauthorised: it may have been altered, it is not covered by these terms or by our support, and we cannot vouch for what it contains. Always download from ontiqo.com or a release page this site links to, and check the size and checksum shown beside the download.

4. Purchases

Work licences are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record: it takes payment, issues receipts and invoices, handles applicable taxes, and holds your payment details. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms. Prices are shown in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise and may change; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. A licence is a one-time purchase with no subscription and no expiry, and covers the number of computers stated at the point of purchase.

Refunds: 30 days, no questions asked. If you want a refund for any reason within 30 days of purchase — including that you bought a licence you did not need, since personal use is free — email support@ontiqo.com from the address you bought with and we will refund it in full. After 30 days, contact us anyway; where a licence does not work as described we will still put it right. Statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply and are not affected by anything here.

5. Support

Support is provided by email and through the ticket form on this site, on a reasonable-efforts basis. We read every ticket, but we do not promise a response time or that a particular problem will be fixed. Please do not send us the contents of your files.

6. Acceptable use of the site

You must not use the site to do anything unlawful; attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, its hosting or its related services; interfere with its operation (for example by overloading it or probing it for vulnerabilities without our permission); use automated means to scrape it beyond ordinary search-engine and AI-assistant indexing, which we permit; misrepresent your identity or affiliation in a support ticket; or use the support form to send spam, abuse or unlawful material.

7. Intellectual property

The site's text, design, graphics, logos and code, and the Ontiqo name and mark, are owned by Ontiqo Pty Ltd or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal or internal reference. You may not otherwise copy, republish, adapt or commercially exploit the site's content, or use the Ontiqo name or mark, without our written permission. Third-party names on the site belong to their owners.

The Ontiqo program is licensed, not sold, and remains the property of Ontiqo Pty Ltd. Downloading it from this site gives you the rights set out in the EULA and no others; in particular it does not permit you to redistribute it (see section 3).

8. Third-party services and links

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, purchases run through Lemon Squeezy, and pages may link to other websites. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

9. No warranty for the site

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that its content is complete or current, although we try to keep it so. Nothing on the site is professional advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ontiqo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or any loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the relevant service or the cost of doing so. Liability in relation to the program itself is dealt with in the EULA. Nothing in this clause limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Privacy

How we handle personal information on the site and in the program is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Changes

We may change these terms by publishing a new version here with a new version number and effective date. Changes apply from publication. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept it; a purchase is governed by the terms in force when it was made.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts entitled to hear appeals from them. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
